Thayir Sadham - South Indian's life line

During the week day last week, I took a break to recover from my migraine headache. As part of the recovery process, I underwent a complete Thayir Sadham therapy. So I want to dedicate this post to the eternal item of every South Indian food menu.

This link from wikipedia suggests various pointers about Thayir Sadham. However I feel the best one is to prepare the sadham with the best of the curd and eat it with some of the famous pickles made in Tamil Nadu.

Eventhough the term "Thayir Sadham" refer to a person who is not active or dumb, it certainly occupies a space in the gourmet side of the South Indian heart.

What would be a better time other than a scorching summer to relish a thayir sadham with cold curd and pickles !!!!

Experiencing the inevitable

The week began with a shock that I have never experienced before. Myself and my family met with an accident in the notorious Hosur Road in Bangalore. Eventhough the car fell, we escaped with less impact. The incident shook us big time and it allowed us to question about the certainity in life (ever debated topic). Such experiences always open up lots of questions around faith, the inevitable end etc.

For now we are back at normal life.

PS:
